Recasting Cyclone Armor maximizes survivability. With enough plus Skill gear and Synergies, Cyclone Armor can make the Wind Druid virtually immune to any Elemental Damage in the game (excluding Poison Damage). Don't get frustrated by low gear for starters, just be a little careful.Cyclone Armor * adds a shield which absorbs Lightning, Fire and Cold Damage while also being a damage Synergy for Tornado and Hurricane. You'll have very high life, very high defense, you'll absorb tons of dmg, you'll do decent to good dmg, you'll have lots of fun with it and you won't regret it. Don't forget that Act II defensive merc from normal! Just remember max resists, good block, decent FHR, FBR, FCR and spend stat and skill points correctly. This gear is of course great but you don't need all that for starters. Magefist (Upgraded to Crusader Gauntlets) or Jalal's Mane (Upgraded to a Dream Spirit) or Here's what a good one looks like (and you'll get your breakpoints). Merc: Act II defensive merc (when hired in normal it'll have a higher skill cap). If you find that you have problems with phys/cold immune monsters then equip your merc with an Atma's Scarab. The Hurricane is cold damage, the Tornado is physical damage. This character will be able to beat anything in the game once you've beefed it up some. Remember also that Enigma (Mage Plate!) has a huge strength bonus. If when you're level 90 you have 75% block but aren't geared properly/know that you will probably upgrade soon enough, then you've spent too many points in dex. If you know that you'll probably get this or that item soon enough, calculate it in. When spending points in dex or strength, always think ahead. Minimum strength to wear Mage Plate is 55, which you'll easily get from items.īreakpoints: 99 Faster Hit Recovery, 20% Faster Block Rate (next is 32%), 99 Faster Cast Rate (or 68, try 99)
